This is article written by Angela burden for the McHenry Plaindealer on June 23, 1982. In this article George Hendle doubts the credibility of Frank Cullotta. He states that he is sent over 15 questions to the FBI and Cullotta responded incorrectly to all them. George Hendle also states that they have another suspect who has failed several lie detector test. What is not mentioned in the article is the suspect is Glen, Patricia Freeman’s boyfriend. What is also not mentioned is that Glen was given three lie detector tests, the first one was inconclusive because he just found out his girlfriend was killed, the second one shown him to be deceptive, and the third one was done by him in his attorney and he was found to be truthful. George Hendle also states that none of the other police agencies as moved on the information that Frank has provided. However we now know that many police agencies use the information that Frank is provided and put a lot of Gangsters away.
George Hendle doubts the credibility of Frank Cullotta before he’s even met him. George Hendle further says that they have a real good suspect already in the case. Which we know to be Glen and the Sheriff’s office never charged him.
